We had our church Christmas party this weekend and my husband was in charge of it, so we were busy setting it up Friday night, putting it on Saturday morning, and then cleaning it up Saturday afternoon. It made for quite the festive weekend. I teach music to the children at my church every Sunday which means during December I get to hear little angelic voices singing carols for two hours and boy has it put me in the Christmas spirit this year. I feel so holly jolly by Sunday night, it’s the perfect start to the week.
Speaking of festive, can we talk about this scarf for a minute? Because, are you kidding me with the perfect red buffalo check? If there was ever a perfect red scarf, this is it. It’s just cute and festive and I love that I can wear it after the holidays and it will still work because it looks Christmasy in December, but it doesn’t scream Christmas so it’ll be the cutest with my white coat in January too. I love incorporating bright poppy colors in the winter when all is gray and bleak, it really keeps my mood up. I also love that it’s not overly bulky. I mean I love blanket scarves as much as the next girl, but sometimes I’m like, LET MY NECK BREATH ALREADY!
