I know a lot of people either love or hate (or love to hate) Valentine’s day, but for me it’s always just been a fun holiday to celebrate anyone/everyone you love. It probably stems from my dad who always got his kids a little something for V-day. It made it fun and special. Even as a dorky teenage girl I knew I’d get a Valentine from my dad. (Thanks Dad!) Some years we go all-out for Valentine’s day and some years we go a little more low-key, but it’s always a fun holiday, especially now that I always have a Valentine.
I thought it would be fun to put a couple little gift guides together for him and her, to give you some ideas for your mister, or send this along and give him some ideas for you. There are gifts at pretty much any level whether v-day is just a little something special or a grand gesture. Hope you enjoy!
And leave me a comment cause I want to know some of your V-day traditions! do you go out, stay in? I usually like to bake cooking with my kids and Craig and I celebrate the anniversary of our 1st date the dat before Valentines… haha.
We are going to spend Friday night at a cute room in the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill nearby, here in Kentucky. They have great food and the rooms are historical but very nice! Can’t wait! Great gift guide!
We do fondue as a family. The first course is the cheese fondue with all the dippers and we have steak with it as well. Then we do the chocolate dessert fondue with all the sweet treats. We have one rule, if you drop something in the pot, you have to go around and give everyone a kiss on the cheek! It’s fun and the kids look forward to it every year!
These are great Valentine’s Day picks! So those white pajamas are perfect and I want it for myself haha!

this is so cute! I love the “rule!” so fun. We’ve never done fondue with the kids but I definitely need to try this now!
