Yesterday felt a lot like a Seattle rainy day.  A lot.  Craig and I both said it when he got home from work.  Dark, a little dreary and super rainy.  It made me feel right at home here in Ct! (Ironically back in Seattle they’re getting pummeled with snow right now, so who knew?)  During this time of year (unless you live in Florida, LA or Texas) I think most of us feel like dressing for spring, but the weather’s not exactly cooperating yet.  This is the part of the year when I start incorporating spring colors into my outfits even if I’m still dressing for the colder (and wetter) weather.

Speaking of spring colors… Can we talk about my favorite pink lipstick ever for a minute?!  I discovered this color (snob, by MAC) last summer and I have been obsessed with it ever since.  Like, as soon as the weather even hinted at not being winter I started fishing for it from the bottom of my lipstick bag.  It’s one of those colors that looks good on everyone.   Seriously, my sisters and I are all a different season coloring-wise and it works really well with all our skin tones.  Anyway, it’s a great color, a smooth beautiful matte lipstick and you need it in your lipstick bag too.  Perfect for Valentine’s day…
