I’m so excited to be teaming up with Vince Camuto today to give you guys a little peek at my Mother’s day dress. Vince Camuto is one of my favorite brands for shoes, (my favorite peep toe booties of all time are VC) and I was so excited to put together my Mother’s day look with the help of my kids and some of their beautiful pieces.
I love getting dressed for Mother’s day, it’s one of my favorite Sundays of the year.
I’m one of those moms that actually loves Mother’s Day. I love the chance to celebrate my mother, and my motherhood. To think about what it means to be a mom and to take a minute to pat myself on the back. Because I’m actually really proud of myself! I mean, look at those four amazing humans right there. I made them! And now they are these cute little people with thoughts and opinions, and fun personalities. It’s awesome, let’s party!
We always go to church on Mother’s Day, and it’s one of my favorite Sundays of the year. I love getting a little extra dolled up for the occasion and that usually means a new dress. This year Hannah and Ava help me pick out this beautiful cream-colored lace Vince Camuto dress and I think it’s my favorite one yet. It’s even prettier in person, if you can believe it, and we all gasped when I opened the box. The soft neutral colors and lace make it pretty and versatile enough to wear to anything from a Mother’s day brunch, to a spring fête, or a summer wedding. And I’m a little more than obsessed with the bell sleeves.
We chose to pair the dress with these strappy taupe heels, which are extremely comfortable and so easy to walk in. I swear, the block heel trend is a mother’s best friend, and it’s great if you plan to spend the afternoon on the grass. Like all Vince Camuto shoes, the quality is on point, and the leather is so soft. Hannah suggested I add this pretty blush colored bag to give the outfit a little pop, and it turned out to be the perfect touch. It such a pretty bag and I love that the strap can be removed to make it a clutch for a date night with Craig. We finished it off with a statement ring and my new favorite cat eye sunglasses. I’m usually the one helping my kids pick out clothes, so it was fun having the girls help me this time. And even the boys stopped talking Percy Jackson long enough to tell me I looked pretty and they liked my new dress, so Hannah and I decided it was a success.
I can’t wait to wear it this Sunday.
How do you celebrate Mother’s day? Do you like to get all dolled up too?
