#nsale: best of beauty.

Hey guys, I’ve got a little treat for you today!  I’ve rounded up the best of the beauty section of the Nordstrom anniversary sale.  Now, the truth is, I am not a huge beauty person.  I’m picky, and when I find what I like, I stick with it, at least until I find something better to replace it ;-).  That’s why I was so excited when I saw that so many of my favorite beauty items were part of the Nordstrom sale!

So let me break down why each of these made the cut:

Living Proof shampoo/conditioner.  I did a who post on this a couple years ago, but this stuff is magic.  Like better hair days than you’ve ever had.  These bottles are huge and if you are like me and go several days between washing, these will last you for months.  Literally.

Dry Bar set.  I love dry bar dry shampoos and conditioners.  They smell amazing, and while they’re a little bit of a splurge, they really feel like a treat for my hair.

Moroccan Oil set.  Okay this is another magic hair brand.  I like to switch back and forth between LP and MO.  It smells amazing too.

T3 Blow Dryer.  My T3 blow dryer is one of my favorite styling tools I’ve ever had.  Nice and hot without turning my hair into a tangly mess.

T3 Straightener. I have the white version of this, and it’s also amazing.  Great, lightweight, heats up super fast, straightens/defrizzes the crap out of my hair.

Clarisonic cleansing brush.  Okay, I finally bought one of these this year and just used it for the first time the other day.  Holy moly.  What was I waiting for?  My skin was instantly glowing, and I found it to be so relaxing.  Like a mini facial/massage.  These would make the best Christmas gift.

SuperGoop Setting mist: I’ve been wanting to try this stuff because I love their sunblock.  This stuff is supposed to be amazing at keeping everything in place, especially on those hot summer days when you can help but face sweat.

Smash box foundation primer.  Talk about magic.  Please don’t ever do your makeup without putting this on first instead.  I swear it makes my pours disappear, makes my makeup go on better and last so much longer.  A small bottle lasts a very long time.

Kate Spade Perfume: I mean, what is there to even say.  This stuff smells like heaven.  Who doesn’t want to smell like that? ;-)

Mac Brush Set.  Good make-up brushes are a must have.  I snagged a great set a couple years ago during the sale, and I still use them.  If you take good care of them they last forever.

Mac Eye Set.  Mac is my favorite eyeshadow, and I’m a big neutral lover, especially when it comes to eyes.  This set is dreamy and even comes with liner and mascara.

Mac Lip Set.  Okay, same goes for lipstick.  I’m a MAC girl for life.  Great colors, and they go on smooth as butter and NEVER dry out my lips.  I’m dying to try these pinks.
