I have a confession, Thanksgiving isn’t until tomorrow, but I’ve been listening to Christmas music for the last couple weeks. Is that still considered a faux pas? Either way, I love all things Christmas. The music, the decorations and lights, the hustle and bustle and the way everyone is cheery and excited. To me joy is getting to experience all of those things with the person I love most in the world. Craig and I try to sneak away for a date night and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the season together, get a little shopping done, and always end it with a treat.

The holidays are by far the busiest season for my business and our family and I feel like from Halloween until New Years, I am on my feet constantly just going, going, going. I need good shoes. When we went to Paris in September I took like four pairs of shoes with me, and they were all good, but my feet hurt every single day. That’s what I expect, we were walking a lot. Craig on the other hand, took one. Yes, one. They were this awesome pair of Rockport Chukka boots and he said his feet felt so good every single day of the trip even though we walked literally 10-13 miles a day. I came home and resolved to get myself a pair of Rockports.

I’m such a girl, and I constantly sacrifice comfort for style, but I’m also mom in my 30’s and at this point, I’m kind of over of my feet hurting. What I love about these gorgeous Rockport booties is, I finally don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. These are so pretty, I love the shape, the heel, and the rich brown color. The leather is so soft, and they are insanely comfortable. Seriously, I don’t understand how Rockport does it, but they feel so good right out of the box. I’ve been wearing these constantly (like literally every single day for the last week) and I can go all day in them without my feet hurting one bit. And I love how they pair with my jeans just as well as the sweater dress I wore to church. They’re the every-boot. They come in black too, and I’m definitely going to pick these up in a second color.
