If I were to pick a color for me this month, it would be pink. Which, I suppose is appropriate since it’s February, the month of love. ;-) I love celebrating all month because really this time of year is the anniversary of when our family really started. Craig and I had our first date on February 13, 15 years ago, and we had a lot of fun last week reminiscing with the kids about those first few weeks when we first fell in love.

The weather is toggling back and forth between winter and spring so much right now, it’s supposed to be in the 50-70’s this week, and yet it snowed a bunch on Saturday night… always makes it tricky getting dressed day to day. This is one of my go-to momiforms this time of year. I love a good cozy long sweater over jeans and my favorite t-shirt. It’s basic but it feels put together, and best of all, it works for the crazy mom days where I’m running around every which way. The Nordstrom Winter sale is a great time of year to pick up these great transitional basics, (especially sweaters and boots) so I rounded up a bunch of great options below.
