When my husband and I first started dating he used to wear hiking boots literally all the time.  Like if we were going out on a date, he’d show up in a pair of jeans, a polo shirt and those hiking boots.  I was pretty crazy about him, so it didn’t really bother me, but I remember thinking to myself, “well he’s pretty much perfect, but dude has no sense of style…”

 Craig’s early footwear choices have become a bit of a joke in our marriage, and even he now admits that those hiking boots were probably a mistake.

The more I’ve focused on curating a versatile wardrobe the more I’ve realized how much I want my pieces to work for me in a lot of different ways.  Especially my shoes.  I want shoes that can take me from a work meeting, to the grocery store, to a day trip to New York with my kids, to a date night with my husband.
