Sometimes I wish I could transport you guys into my pictures.  If I could, you would be able to hear how lovely it is in the morning here.  It sounds like there are a thousand birds singing and the air is cool and misty and everything is green and lush.  It’s like waking up in Eden.

Can you tell how elated I am that it’s finally spring in New England?

On Saturday we spent the whole day outside, mowing and building the chicken coop and clearing branches and brush and just getting the property ready for the summer months.  I plan on spending every spare second outdoors.

Isn’t this the sweetest little summer dress?  It’s so soft and breezy and I love the floral print, and the buttons down the front.  I think it would be cute as a swimsuit cover up too.  I’ve been completely obsessed with Free People’s line of dresses this season.  They are all so gorgeous and feminine.  I love all the floral prints, embroidery and ruffles and just the gorgeous details.  A good casual dress is such a go-to for me this time of year, you can just throw it on and go.  You feel put together, without too much fuss or too many layers.
