Summer is like the season of gifting to me.  I mean, between Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations, and weddings… then there always seems to be a ton of baby showers, and bridal showers, and for us summer is also a super busy time when it comes to birthdays.  We’ve got 3 of my siblings, Craig’s sister, and Hannah who all have summer birthdays, and we buy a lot of birthday gifts this time of year.  So I thought it would be fun to share some summer gift ideas today.

I know we all turn to Nordstrom when it comes to dressing ourselves, because they are the best, but did you know it’s a great resource for gifting?  Here’s why…

First of all, they have everything.  From clothes (obviously) to toys for kids, gift sets, beauty, pretty pieces for your home, no matter who or what you’re buying for, I guarantee they have something that will more than fit the bill.  Their gift section is extensive and they have gift ideas for baby showers, Father’s Day, weddings, anniversaries, house warmings and more.

Second, their shipping is always fast and free.  This is huge for me, since we live far from everyone in our family, costs to ship gifts really starts to add up and eat into the gift budget, also, I really love that I don’t have to go to the post office.  Like it really, really makes me happy.  I love that with Nordstrom, I can put it all my budget towards the gift.

Speaking of which, they offer beautiful gift wrapping and it includes a hand written card.  I also love that with Nordstrom, I know whatever I order will be impeccable quality, and if for some reason they need to return or exchange, Nordstrom has the very best customer service.

These ideas would work great for a summer graduation gift, birthday, or even Mother’s Day (I know it’s passed, think next year).

I know this sounds unoriginal, but gift cards are always a good idea.  Every woman loves a gift card to Nordstrom. (also Nordstrom donates 1% of their gift cards to non-profits.)

Beauty gifts are some of my favorites to give the women in my life.  They’re all so hard working and self-sacrificing.  I love giving them a gift that encourages a little pampering.  Nordstrom has a ton of beauty gift sets.  How cute is this one?

Jewelry.  Talk about a gift that fits everyone.  Kendra Scott is always a great bet for jewelry,  think a great pair of earrings or a statement necklace.  Or something cheeky from Kate Spade, like this one I shared earlier this month.

A silk pillowcase.  There are so many hair and skin benefits to sleeping with a silk pillowcase, and also it feels amazing!  I got mine almost a year ago and I’m still obsessed.  Makes a fantastic gift.

A super soft cute PJ set.  This one is perfect for summer and the fabric is insanely soft.

A weekender bag.  Such a fun idea, especially since summer is full of little weekend getaways.  I love this one from Sole Society.  The cognac color is perfect and so versatile.
