Hello everyone! I hope you had the loveliest holiday! I cooked all day on Christmas Eve, and we had the best couple of days spending time together, singing carols, the kids acted out the nativity, we drank cider and opened gifts, took naps, played risk and went to the movies. My husband made homemade eggnog (the literal best thing I’ve ever drank in my life and I don’t even like eggnog) and quiche Lorraine (amazing). Needless to say, it was a perfect holiday for us. We cleaned up our Christmas mess this morning and now the house is clean, my kids are playing Risk with their dad (again) and I am just popping in to say a quick hello. I got quite a few gift cards for Christmas, so I thought I would browse a few of the after Christmas sales and share them with you, in case you also have some gift cards to spend… ;-)
Nordstrom Winter sale. This is one of the best ones out there. Nordstrom’s winter sale is seriously good this year. There are Uggs on sale, this Leith dress I styled a bunch of ways back in the fall, my favorite OTK boots, Frye riding boots, this striped slouchy tee (that is the best thing ever and on sale for $7!) and a bunch of great Madewell pieces. Loft. Thousands (not exaggerating) of markdowns, including tons of pieces under $20, and under $30. Here are a few of my favorites. I love this flare sleeve sweater (it comes in 3 colors, comes in petite and is 50% off) , this super cute bobble stitch sweater, and this super pretty soft pink snowflake sweater (its under $20!)
Madewell. Extra 40% off sale pieces at Madewell. You know this is my favorite brand, and sales like this are so rare, I would recommend settling in with a cup of cocoa and browsing it all, but here are some of my favorite pieces on sale. These overalls (they are my favorites, are normally $130 and they are marked down to $53!!!!), all 11 colors of the Kent cardigan are marked way down, the Jada suede boot, this grey buffalo check central shirt is on sale for under $30. a few more favorites:
J.Crew. Extra 50% off sale styles. I love this gingham shirt and it comes in 5 colors.
J.Crew Factory. 40-60% off new arrivals, extra 50% off sale. I’m loving this wrap cardigan, one of my favorite plaid shirts is only $15 on sale, my favorite black sweater dress is on sale for $25, these amazing plaid tartan flats are on sale for $40.
Walmart. There are lots of great household deals at Walmart right now. This nutribullet is on sale for $79 marked down from $129. My favorite kitchen tool, my kitchenaid mixer is on sale for $189 marked down from $229. You can also pickup the 3-piece pasta roller attachment for the mixer (and make your own pasta!) it’s on sale for under $130. This Kitchenaid bakeware set is marked down to $20 from $50 and includes a ton of great baking pans. If you have ever wanted to get a Dyson vacuum now is the time, they are on major sale at Walmart. This cordless version is on sale for $270 marked down from $400, and this upright version is on sale for $240 marked down from $350.
