daily looks and weekend things.

Over on instastories this past week I started sharing my daily outfits and it’s been a lot of fun.  I had such a huge response, I thought I would put them on here on the weekends, and hopefully one or all of these will give you some inspiration and make it easier for you to get dressed each day.  Hopefully these easy everyday outfits will give you ideas for how to use your closet to work and rework what you have, or maybe see the holes you might have in your wardrobe.  If you’re looking for a little more help, be sure to check out my new course, I created it to be a resource for you to help curate a closet that works seamlessly for you everyday.  Check it out here.

In case you missed it this week, here’s what happened on the blog.  I shared one of my favorite trends for spring, on Tuesday I showed you guys how I reorganized my spice cupboard and why that made me so happy, I also shared why I started using Essential Oils and how I’ve been using them in my home.

Things I’m loving around the internet:

I’m not a big shorts wearer (especially because I have short legs, blah and for religious reasons I wear longer shorts).  But you guys, I found THE BEST pair of high waisted long shorts, and they are so flattering even on a shorty like me!

I picked up all my seeds and starter pots for my garden and I am so excited to get started with spring and working our property again (even though it snowed Friday night, boo.).  Just ordered this book to help me get my cut flower garden going.  So excited!

I wanted to share one of my favorite instagram accounts with you, @cottonwoodacres.  I just love everything Alyssa does.  She’s insanely talented and the kindest human being.  Click over and follow her for endless inspiration.

I had one of you sweet ladies turn me on to the best Dolce Vita slide dupes at Target and I just ordered a pair to try out.  I cannot wait till they get here.  They’re under $30!  Now I just need the weather to cooperate and turn into spring!

Oh, how I love cut flowers and the easy bouquets I get throughout the summer! Please try a few different varieties of zinnia. They come in tall, mid length and short and in many different colors. You will not be disappointed!

Do you wear your jackets all day?
Your outfit photos always feature jackets.

Can you post the link for the eyelet dress you tried on in your insta stories? It looked so pretty on you!

    Thanks

Hi Ella! I wear them usually when I am out and about. Typically if I’m at home I don’t have a jacket on, but it depends on the jacket! Some of my lightweight ones I might wear all day even at home.

Here’s the link to the dress! http://bit.ly/2OxxViF
