spring in New England.

gingham dress.(from my shop So Provincial) tee. wedges. sunglasses.(similar inexpensive optionbag.

We had really truly glorious spring weather over the weekend.  Mid-60’s and sunny, we drove to the Hudson River Valley on Saturday and rode bikes down our little country roads yesterday morning.  Today it’s raining.  But you know what?  I’ll take it!  I find the gloomy days don’t bother me much as long as I get some sunshine in there too.  And anyway, if you want flowers, you’ve got to have a little rain.  This feels like one big metaphor, doesn’t it?  I suppose there’s one in there.  But what I’m really trying to say is, that it’s spring in New England and we are all very happy about that.

Spring has also arrived in my shop, So Provincial, and I am very excited about that!  We’ve got so many new spring pieces that we’ll be releasing over the next few weeks I cannot wait for you to see them!  Make sure and check over there everyday, because new items will be arriving daily!

Speaking of which, this pretty blue gingham dress just dropped in the shop on Friday, and I could not be more in love.  In the winter I have a hard time remembering why I ever feel like wearing dresses.  I’m just not in the mood for them during the cold months.  But I swear, the second the weather changes I’m like, “give me all the  dresses, and gingham prints, and sandals and straw bags.”

Anyone else experience this?

H Fleur! I am wearing the small! The fit is very forgiving, because of the smocked back on the bodice and the tie straps!
