You guys know I love a great versatile closet piece, and I love it when I find something that I can style through multiple seasons like this perfect wear now, wear later Gal Meets Glam dress that’s on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (general access starts today!).
This is my 4th Gal Meets Glam dress and I think it’s my favorite one yet. It’s seriously so pretty, so comfortable, I love the print and the beautiful fall colors. The fabric is so light and lovely, perfectly drapey and it feels like silk, so its great for the summer months. Later it will layer beautifully with jackets and sweaters, and I cannot wait to try it with boots for the fall months. When I teach people about using capsule wardrobes, a lot of times they think it means they have to say goodbye to all the color and fun prints, but that’s not the truth. It’s about finding versatile pieces that you can style lots of different ways, which is why a dress like this is a great capsule piece.
