late summer Abercrombie try-on.

Hey Guys, I popped into the Abercrombie when I was in Boston a few days ago and thought I would show you the pieces I tried on.  They’ve got a big summer clearance going on and most of the stuff I tried on is on sale today.  Size and fit information is included below each image.  For reference, I am 4’11” and typically wear a 24/25, 00, XXS-XS.

pink top. (on sale for $35) Mom jeans. (on sale right now- different sale prices depending on the wash.)

I love this little pink top, such a fun little soft splash of color and you can easily work this into your fall layers.  You know I love a good multi season versatile piece. Wearing the XS, fits TTS.

These mom jeans are on major sale right now, and they are one of my favorites.  This is the normal length and I always order the short length which is really petite friendly (online only).  I have the more distressed wash in these jeans, but I actually like this less distressed option.  I am wearing the size 25 regular. Fit is a little generous.  I would order these in a 24 Short.

This is the same top in a different print and I really like this one as a capsule piece because it’s so versatile.  It’s also a good alternative to a Madewell striped top for a much lower price.

I’m always looking for petite friendly leather jackets and this one is okay.  It’s a great jacket and style with a really good fit. But the sleeves are a little long.  If you are over 5’2″ you could probably make this work, but it’s just a little too big for me.  Wearing an XS. Fits TTS.

White top. Striped pants.

Love this gorgeous gauzy white top.  The lace detail is so pretty.  It does go quite low in the front.  Fits TTS wearing an XS.

I wanted to love these linen pants so much, but they were so unflattering on me! Sad day.  They might work if you are taller, but if you are petite I would steer clear.  Wear an XS, runs big.

jumpsuit.

I thought this was a cute little jumpsuit which I would obviously not pair with a black top.  It’s got a smocked back which I love, it makes it very fit friendly and I love the stripes and the tie detail.  I’m wearing an XS.  Fits TTS, and I would bring the hem up a bit on my height.

I am IN LOVE with this little jumpsuit, and bonus(!) it comes in petite online!   (I am wearing the regular length here, hence the rolled bottoms.). Love the buttons, the tie, the smocked back and the fit.  Wearing an XS, fits TTS.

 I really wanted to love this jumpsuit but the fit around the mid-section was just not flattering on my body type (petite rectangle). The cut may work better for you if you have more of an hourglass or curvy fit.   Wearing XS, fits TTS.
