Everlane fall/denim try-on.

If you’ve been reading this blog for a long time, then you know that I have been a fan of Everlane since the beginning of the brand, back in the day when their t-shirts and radical manufacturing transparency where taking the fashion world by storm.  So I was so excited that I had a spare hour to pop into their NYC store while I was in the city last week.  First of all, if you are in San Francisco, New York or LA, I HIGHLY recommend popping in to shop in person, because the space was dreamy and I loved getting to play with their great pieces in person.  For everyone else, I hope this try-on is helpful to you!  I was really excited to try out their denim.  I’ve heard such great things about it.  Everlane is notorious for nailing fit, designs and fabric, and the price of their (very awesome high quality) denim is just so dang reasonable.

Everlane is an awesome brand to turn to if you are building your capsule, especially for those high quality basics.  Their pieces are all extremely well made and the prices are unbelievably reasonable.

All the fit and sizing info in included beneath each image, and for reference I am 4’11” and typically wear a 24-25 jean, 00P, XXS-XS.

This crew neck tee is so great.  The fit is really good, I am wearing an XXS and it’s great as a slim fit tee. If you were looking for a looser fit I would go up a size.

The cheeky ankle boot jeans are amazing.  They do run a size small I would say.  And the bootcut isn’t super petite friendly because when I take off the extra length you kind of lose the silhouette.  But these are super flattering jeans, the denim quality is amazing and they are very comfortable.  I’ wearing the 23. Runs big, go down at least one size.

These are the same jeans as above just in the light denim wash.  Really great fit, super comfy and like I said you lose a little of the bootcut look when you are petite, but overall a really great jean. Wearing the 24 here, but like I said, I would size down. They do run a bit big.

collarless air shirt. cheeky straight ankle jean.

These cheeky ankle straight jeans are my favorite denim style I tried on the other day.  If you are looking for a great “mom jean” style silhouette these are amazing!  They give you that relaxed feel, have a nice high waist, and are still really flattering!  This is a great denim style if you have shorter legs and find that skinny jeans make your legs look squatty.  Love the straight fit.  These run big.  I am wearing a 24, but would go down to a 23. (see below for a side view of these jeans.)

I love this top so, so much.  It’s the most beautiful color (perfect for fall) is super lightweight and soft!  I love the details, especially on the sleeves.  It’s a great capsule top for fall. I’m wearing 00 and it fits TTS.

link stitch crew neck sweater. mid-rise skinny jeans.

This crew neck sweater is one of the best quality, most flattering sweaters I have ever tried on.  The fit is gorgeous, it is so soft and I cannot emphasize enough how high the quality is.  I would expect to pay $150 for a sweater of this quality, and this one is $75. This is a perfect fall capsule sweater and it’s going to last you for years.  I am wearing XXS, fit is TTS and perfectly slouchy.

These are awesome mid-rise skinny jeans.  Super comfortable and flattering, the denim quality is up there with Madewell at a much lower price.  If you are looking for a good mid-rise skinny, this one is perfect.  I’m wearing the size 24, fits TTS.

Washable silk shirt. High right straight pant.

I have been a huge fan of Everlane’s silk line for years, and I love this washable silk top.  So convenient, no dry cleaning!  Love the fit and feel, and this color is literally to die for. I’m wearing the 00, it has a drapey fit.

I’m not a huge fan of these pants.  For petites, I feel like the wide leg pant is a much more flattering cut, this silhouette just doesn’t really work on my frame. But the quality and fabric are amazing, and if you are taller I believe they would be a really good cut. I’m wearing a 0 and the fit is a little roomy.

luxe cotton tee dress.

I was so excited that they had a couple pieces in their Luxe cotton in store.  It is every bit as good as it seems like it is on their site.  Buttery soft, flattering beautiful fabric.  I love this casual tee dress and I love that you could style it up or down depending on your needs.  I’m wearing the XXS, fits TTS.

Also love this jumpsuit in the same fabric.

Okay, I saved my favorite for last.  These cheeky straight jeans are SO, SO flattering, I love the faded black wash, the high waist, the great denim.  They are such a great option if you are looking for a really great flattering “mom jean” style.  There is nothing frumpy about these, which is why I love them. They do run big, wearing the size 23 here.
