Happy Labor Day weekend! I know I just did a J.Crew Factory Try-on a couple weeks ago, but I popped in there yesterday to exchange a jacket and the had more of their fall line in stock. You guys, I don’t know what’s happening here, JCF’s fall line is so on-point this year, I can’t even remember when I have ever found so many great pieces in one season at a single store. The real reason I wanted to get this up this weekend is that they are having a huge sale! 50% off everything, plus an additional 20% off for J.Crew members (all you have to do is sign up with your email to become a member, no joke.). I got the leopard dress and rust colored sweater below (both originally $98) for $40 each. The deals are insane.
For size reference, I am 4’11” and typically wear XXS-XS, 00P, 24-25.
vest. chambray shirt. Rag and bone jeans(old), similar here. similar leopard shoes.
This sherpa vest is one of my favorite pieces I found yesterday. I love the muted mustard color(it comes in black too), it’s such a great layering piece for fall. The fit is amazing too! Sometimes these run kind of big and I feel like they make you look like a middle-aged mom in 1995, but the fit on this one is SO. GOOD. I’m wearing an XXS, fits TTS.
This is my all-time favorite chambray shirt. I have 3 of them (I checked). Honestly they’re the only ones I buy. Great quality, fit and price. It’s a perfect capsule piece year round. I’m wearing the XXS fits TTS. (It’s comes in petite as well for all my fellow short girls!)
sweater jacket. chambray shirt. Rag and bone jeans(old), similar here. similar leopard shoes.
I am obsessed with this amazing coatigan. It’s got such great structure and its a really great fall capsule piece if you want a bit more of an elevated sweater look. I tried it on in Olive here, but it comes in camel, black and rust as well. (I brought the rust one home. You’ll see it below.). I’m wearing the XXS, fits a bit long in the arms, but I tried cuffing the sleeves and it looks great, so it works really well for petites too. It’s also soft and not itchy at all.
Dying over this awesome mustard corduroy dress. It is the cutest style, the prettiest color and I love the fit. This would be so cute styled so many different ways for the fall. Can you picture it with booties and tights?! Straps were a touch long on me (not a huge surprise), but other than that it fit like a glove. Wearing the 00, fits TTS.
leopard dress. similar leopard shoes.
You guys, I found the most perfect leopard dress in the world. The fit on this dress is so good. It’s so, so flattering. The sleeves have just a touch of puff, and are smocked at the bottom so they drape beautifully. The bodice is semi fitted and hugs your curves just enough but then it’s still so twirly at the bottom. It’s seriously a beautiful dress. I’m wearing the 00, fits TTS.
black and white top. yellow midi skirt.
I told you guys JCF’s fall stuff is good! Look at this micro pleat mustard midi skirt! Such a fun color pop piece to add to your fall capsule. Mustard is very versatile, and this skirt would be so good in a business setting. But I love it cause you can also style these skirts more casually (thing cute graphic tee and some booties.) Wearing the 00, fits TTS.
I tried this top on in olive last time, and I love this cute polka dot version! These are great basics for a fall wardrobe because the drapey fabric layers so nice under sweaters without adding bulk. Wearing XXS, fits TTS.
schoolboy blazer. leopard button-down. Rag and bone jeans(old), similar here. similar leopard shoes.
Okay lets talk about the schoolboy blazer. So you guys know that I love my camel blazer from J.Crew, it’s an investment and in my opinion worth every penny. A good camel blazer can be worn for years in so many ways s the cost per wear is an incredible value, even at what I paid for my camel blazer ($200). This schoolboy blazer which has impeccable quality, starts at $148, it’s marked off to $74, and then J.Crew members get 20% off that. So basically, what I am saying is, this blazer is $60 this weekend. If you’ve been considering adding a camel blazer to your wardrobe this is an amazing opportunity to add one to your closet. I’m wearing the 00 (it also comes in petite and that would fix the sleeve/ shoulder fit issue), and fits TTS.
Love this leopard button down, and it looks so good paired with the schoolboy blazer! Fabric is soft and light and it has a perfect structure. I tried on the small which was too big on me (smallest size they had in store) but I can tell it fits pretty much TTS.
sweatshirt. Rag and bone jeans(old), similar here. similar leopard shoes.
Love this light weight weekend sweater. Extra points for being french. ;-). So great for evenings on the beach or a casual Saturday around town. It’s soft on the inside and fits TTS. I’m wearing the XXS.
sweater jacket. white button-down. Rag and bone jeans(old), similar here. similar leopard shoes.
Okay I had to go out and try-on this coatigan in Rust. And then I went ahead and bought it, because this color is awesome and a great versatile hue to add to a fall wardrobe. You can see how I cuffed the sleeves here (which is how I’ll wear it being petite.) and it still looks great.
I noticed the last three items as I was getting ready to walk out and didn’t have more time to go try them on for you, but I wanted to show them to you because they are good.
First of all their puffer vests are back! These are the best fall layering pieces, seriously! Grab one, (or two) while they are on sale. They fit TTS.
They added sweater lining to the collar on the village coat and I am so obsessed with it. It comes in three colors, but you know Camel has my heart. This coat also comes in petite!!! All of my best fitting petite coats are from J.Crew/J.Crew factory, and you can snag this one for $92 this weekend (originally $228).
Remember the leopard tie-neck top I tried on a couple weeks ago? It comes in polka dot too! This top is such a classic.
I hope you enjoyed this! Like I said, everything is 50% off plus an additional 20% off if you are a J.Crew member. It literally takes 1 minute to sign up and all you do is give them your email address.
Happy Labor Day!
