Hi everyone happy Friday! I thought it would be fun to share our fall mantel this year! I keep it pretty simple with my fall decor, usually just the mantel and our front porch which I know is basic compared to a lot of people, but we do a lot of decorating for Christmas so it’s kind of nice to keep it low key in the fall. This is a new mantel display this year and I’m pretty happy with it. I switched up the sign to one of my favorite fall quotes then accented it with some garland, white pumpkins, a pitcher with olive branches, a few antique books and some wooden pumpkins. Simple but festive.
I built and painted the quote sign myself using my vinyl cutter. It’s not very hard at all, but if you’re not the crafty type there are lots of great options on Etsy. I bought simple white pumpkins at the grocery store, the wood ones are from Home Goods, and the vase is from Target. I find all my antique books in Thrift stores and Antique shops!
When I decorate I try to mix textures and layers and make it feel easy and natural. Then really I just adjust and tweak it until everything looks like I want it!
I love this season so much, so decorating in the fall is really fun. I hope this gives you a little inspiration for your home! Do you decorate for fall, or just wait until Christmas?
