Hey guys! I’ve got a fun little Madewell Fall try-on for you today. I am LOVING their fall line this season. So many great rich fall colors and plaids!!! Here’s what I found!
For reference, I am 4’11” and typically wear a 24-25, 00-0, XXS-XS. Sizing info is beneath each image.
Plaid wide leg pants. Love these fun plaid pants so much. They unfortunately do not have the magic-suck-you-in pockets, so they can be a little tricky in the pooch area, especially for someone like me who’s had 5 babies and also have muscular thighs. (Which I share just to give you an accurate idea of how these fit. I’m totally fine and happy with my body.). They are still really, really cute and very comfortable. Wearing a size 24, runs big.
Black long sleeve tee. This is the perfect basic black long sleeve tee for fall. Love the fitted arms, but slightly slouchy body. Perfect for front tucking and layering. Wearing XXS, fits TTS.
Cardigan. I am really digging this cardigan worn as a shirt trend and I love this muted pumpkin one. Wearing an XXS, fits TTS and the v-neck doesn’t drop too low, just FYI if you are petite and find that’s an issue.
These slim wide-leg jeans are amazing you guys. I love them so much. They are super flattering, really comfortable, have the magic pockets and are a great style to try if you are wanting to dip your toes in the water on the wide-leg trend. Wearing a 24, fit TTS. Also they are on sale for $89.
I love this little striped v-neck sweater. It’s more colorful than I tend to go in the fall, but it’s so cute! It’s also on sale. Wearing an XXS, fits TTS.
Really wanted to love this green striped sweater, but it was awful. The fit, feel, drape, the way the dart pulled and puckered all bad. Do not buy this one. Wearing an XXS, no idea how to even judge this fit it was so random!
These are the front button version of the jeans above and I don’t love them quite as much but they are still a great jean, and also on sale for $89.
Completely smitten with this mustard corduroy skirt. Wish it was like an inch longer, because I only wear skirts that go to my knees, but its soooooo cute and fits like a glove. Would be so cute with opaque tights and boots all fall and winter.
Words cannot describe my love for this button sweater. So perfect. Love the side buttons, the relaxed mock-turtleneck and the gorgeous color. Wearing XXS, fits TTS.
Okay, I was on the fence big time with the leopard booty trend, but these have converted me. They are so chic and perfect. (Also, they are super comfy too.). Really in love with these boots. Wearing a 6, I normally wear a size 5.5 and these were a little big, so I think they fit TTS. I’m ordering these in a 5.5.
Love this buffalo check sweater. The fall colors are gorgeous and it’s just so cozy and classic. Wearing the XS (smallest they had in store.) Fits TTS. This print comes in a coat as well, and it’s amazing.
Okay, I had zero expectations of this blazer working for me, because it’s not petite, but I love the boyfriend blazer trend so I thought I would give it a try. I LOVE it! It’s oversized in the body like it should be, but not in a way that drowns my figure (not sure how they pulled that off, but bravo!) And the arms and shoulders have an almost perfect fit. If you are petite and are looking for an oversized boyfriend blazer, give this one a try! Also love plaid and the warm fall colors in the weave. Wearing an XXS, not sure how to describe the fit because it’s an oversized style. But it runs TTS in the oversized style. Does that make sense?
