daily looks: January 26-31

Hello everyone!  I wanted to pop in and share last weeks daily looks with you.  January it seems was the month of illness, and of course we couldn’t escape the last week without a little more of it.  Ava came down with FluB and so I spent most of last week taking care of her, working on projects at home and cleaning every surface of the house over and over again.  All the cleaning didn’t keep me from catching the flu myself, though and I spent the last 4 days feeling pretty bad.  Luckily, I’m on the mend today and I’m hoping that it stops with the 2 of us this year… fingers crossed!  I only grabbed shots of 4 of my outfits last week, but hopefully these give you some ideas for your own outfit planning!

Speaking of which, if you want to try outfit planning this week I have a free outfit planner and some easy practical tips for stream-lining the process you can get below, just plug your email into the box and I will send them right to you!

I wore this dress twice last week (no shame!), it’s that good.  I love a great dress that is easy to wear dressed up or down and this one ticks all the boxes.  Plus it’s just so pretty and comfortable! I paired it with boots and a denim jacket here.  See below for how I styled it later on in the week!

This is one of my easy casual mom outfit combinations.  Since I was in heavy-duty, mom with sick kids mode, this cozy outfit really did the trick.  I love this long sweater, it’s super soft and the charcoal color is very versatile.

I swear this packable puffer is the coat that keeps on giving.  I knew this jacket would be versatile, but I had no idea how many fun ways I would find to style it.  If you don’t have a lightweight packable puffer in your closet yet, I highly recommend adding one.  I have one in black and this olive color and both are so great and so versatile.

And we’re back to the dress again! This time I paired it with a long soft-white cardigan, tights, boots, and my transport tote.  I really love how fun and versatile this dress is, I can’t wait to style it for the rest of winter and into spring and summer.
