top. jeans. veja sneakers. crossbody bag.
Fall is, without a doubt my favorite season to get dressed. Well, its really my favorite season for EVERYTHING, but I digress. I pretty much always lean towards classic styles rather than trendy pieces (which is why you probably won’t ever see me in bike shorts…) but there are some trends for fall this year that I simply adore, and bonus, they’re classic and fun.
Here are 5 styles I’m loving for fall this year…
1. Puff Sleeves.
Maybe it’s the Anne of Green Gables in me, but this style gets two enthusiastic thumbs up from me. I’ve share many times how much I love to add classic versatile pieces to my capsule but I like those pieces to have a little something that makes them pop. Something that makes them special. Adding a puff sleeve is a fun way to update classics, like a Breton striped top.
2. Veja Sneakers.
I LOVE a great classic sneaker, they’re fun, practical, versatile and always look chic. I’ve been pretty devoted to Adidas sneakers for the last 5-6 years, but I have a new obsession. I love every singe Veja design. They’re classic and minimal while feeling joyful and fresh, and they are comfy right out of the box. I also love that the brand is environmental and fair trade focused.
3. Crossbody Bags.
This is nothing new, but I love the fresh take people are giving the style by wearing belt bags as crossbody bags, but a good traditional crossbody does the trick as well. These are so convenient for the fall and winter months, keep hands free and give any outfit an easy-going laid-back vibe. I just added this Madewell bag to my capsule and I love it.
4. White Dresses.
White dresses have been everywhere this summer and I’m loving how I’m already seeing them be styled into the fall as well with booties, and cardigans. The no white after Labor Day has been securely laid to rest so we can all keep rocking this dreamy little white dresses through the fall months. I love this style from Target and at under $30 it’s a steal.
Paperbag waists.
This is another classic, almost universally flattering style that is everywhere this fall again. I love it done in pants, skirts, and even shorts. It’s always waisting cinching and I love the little extra detail that makes the piece more fun.
Hi, I was wondering about the size on the Veja sneakers. What do you recommend…sizing up or down ir are they true to size. Thank you!
Hi! they’re euro sizes so go to the size chart to see the conversion to US sizing, and I have found them to be TTS!
Where is that beautiful plaid paperbag skirt from? I need that in my life:-))
