When I asked you all over on stories earlier this month, who you needed the most help shopping for, the top answers were husband, dad and father-in-law. I get it! Why are men so insufferably hard to shop for?! For most of my marriage it has felt like either my husband didn’t want anything, already had everything or wanted things that were out of our budget… Trying to find a gift that would be meaningful and fun has felt at times, impossible. And don’t even get me started on my dad and father-in-law, because they basically have everything already. Ug.
But never fear, I am here to help! I’ve rounded up a bunch of fun, unique, useful and cool gifts that are sure to be winners for the guys in your life. Like my gift guide for her, I’ve broken everything down by cost, so no matter what your budget is this Christmas, you can give your guy a great gift.
$20 and under.
Personalized leather key chain. This super thoughtful gift is under $10 and perfect for anyone who wants to give a great gift on a tight budget.
Unbroken by Lauren Hilldenbrand. This is one of the best books I’ve ever read and my husband read it earlier this year and said it literally changed his life. A great option for any husband, dad, brother or FIL.
The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown. Another amazing and inspiring book he’s sure to love.
Carhartt beanie. Best. Beanie. Ever. I promise you, he will never take it off.
Goodfellow grooming products. My boys and Craig love this chic men’s grooming line from Target.
Chic Dopp kit bag. I love the modern zipper on this bag and the unique olive color. It’s a fun take on a classic bag.
$50 and under.
Enso silicone ring. I got one of these for my husband 2 years ago and he loves it. He wears it while lifting weights or working outside, and it’s much more comfortable and safe than a metal ring. If you’ve got a fit, outdoorsy, or handy hubby one of these rings is a great gift idea.
Personalized leather money clip. This is a super classy yet affordable gift for a father-in-law or dad, or even your hubby. Make sure to order early to get in time for Christmas.
Yeti tumbler. These are always a winner, and I love this one because it has a handle on top so it’s great for hiking and working out.
Modern Map City Print. Have a hubby or dad who loves to travel? Get them a print of their favorite city. I love the modern design of these, and that they have the coordinates as well. They’ve got a bunch of US and European cities and the prints start at under $20.
Worktunes headphones. If your guy or dad is working outside or with powertools a lot and needs hearing protection, these are an awesome option, and at right around $50 are a great value.
State Patch Hat. These are fun, especially if you’re guy loves to wear a hat. Lots of different options from each state.
Personalized cuff links. These are a great idea for the guy or dad who has everything! Does he have monogrammed cuff links? Probably not, these look great and will be a thoughtful surprise for a great price.
$100 and under.
DNA test. This is a little more outside the box, but I think it’s such a great gift idea for the guy that has “everything.” A bunch of my family members have done this and have said that it was actually really fun to see their exact genetic make-up.
Fire pit. This would make a great dad/father-in-law gift. Everyone loves a cozy snores night (even in the winter) and this fire pit is chic, but still affordable.
Waxed Canvas log carrier. Goes perfectly with that fire pit! This one is so chic and can be personalized.
Cordless drill set. This is always a winner. We have this one and it comes with a spare battery and works really well.
Over $100.
Ray-ban aviators. You guys know how much I love my aviators, and this unisex pair is like a magic pair of sunglasses. They literally look good on everyone, male or female, and bonus they’re super comfortable to wear. Perfect gift for a dad, father-in-law, hubby or brother.
AirPods. These are on my gift guide for her list, but they’re also a great idea for any guy in your life. These are on sale for $30 off right now!
Veja Sneakers. These are my favorite new sneaker brand and they have a great men’s line. These would make a good gift for a hubby or brother.
Bose Noise cancelling headphones. These are a bit of a splurge, but I got my hubby a pair for Father’s Day after I got my own pair and he is OBSESSED with them. I could go on and on about why these are amazing, but they are comfortable, have an adjustable level of noise cancelling and superior sound. He will love them, trust me.
Air compressor/ nail gun set. These are seriously some of the best power tools you can have around your house. (Especially the air compressor!) I got this one for Craig years ago and it’s still one of my best gifts I’ve ever gotten him.
Cast iron dutch oven. This remains one of the best gifts I’ve gotten Craig. We loved using it all year and my father in law loves his dutch ovens!
