5 ways to style a graphic sweatshirt.

Today is a really special style series, because I am styling one of the brand new graphic sweatshirts in my shop So Provincial. This new line of sweatshirts is designed “for women who…” and is so special to me, because it was inspired by you, my wonderful readers and friends from all over the world who I am lucky enough to interact with here everyday. I hope you know the impact you’ve had on my life and how much you have all changed me and made me a better person. I am constantly inspired by the mountains you are moving in your lives, the stories you’ve shared with me, your creativity, your joy! This line is for you! It has 4 fun sweatshirts (with more coming soon!) all created “for women who…”

Okay, now let’s do this! 5 ways to style a graphic sweatshirt.

#1:With jeans and sneakers.

sweatshirt. jeans. sneakers. bag. necklace set.

You know I love a great sneakers and jeans outfit, so of course I had to start by styling the sweatshirt with some Levi jeans and my favorite Veja sneakers. Keep it from looking drab by front tucking the sweatshirt and scrunching up the sleeves.

#2 With white pants.

sweatshirt. white pants. loafers. bag. necklace set.

You may have observed that these white wide leg pants get included in almost every single style session I do, and for good reason. They are one of the best pieces in my capsule. So easy to style, flattering, and comfy. Turns out they work great with a sweatshirt too!

#3: With boyfriend jeans and a spring jacket.

sweatshirt. jeans. boots. similar jacket. necklace set.

This is one of my favorite combinations right now for early spring when it’s chilly! I got this jacket a couple years ago and it comes out every spring and fall like clockwork. It’s long sold out, but I linked a similar version. Light weight jackets are the perfect layering piece this time of year. And you know I love a great pair of boyfriend jeans with Chelsea boots.

#4: With black skinny jeans and trench coat.

sweatshirt. similar trench coat. leopard bag. boots. necklace set. sunglasses.

Monochromatic looks are a petite girl’s best friend, and I love putting one together with a graphic sweatshirt. So easy and comfy. Throw on a trench and this outfit feels super chic and put together with minimal effort. I also threw on my le specs sunnies. These are so well made and look like designer sunglasses but for a steal.

#5: With straight jeans and an Oxford shirt.

sweatshirt. Oxford shirt. jeans. similar shoes.

I was honestly planning to style the sweatshirt with a leopard dress for the 5th look (which was super cute FYI), but I am just feeling jeans right now, know what I mean? So I called an audible last minute and styled the sweatshirt with a button down shirt and my favorite classic straight jeans. I’m happy with my choice. Makes for a fun layered look. (But just in case you were wondering, you can 100% style this with a dress too, and it’s dang cute!)

    Hi Cori,

I just wanted to reach out to you and thank you for all that you do. I truly cannot express how much you have inspired me since I have began following your account (probably a little over a year ago.) We have interacted a few times on Instagram: my handle is @d21hansen, but you have no idea how much you’ve inspired me.

Just a few examples, I have created my own capsule wardrobe – I go off of your style because I love it so much. I have many articles printed from your blog that I have studied for when I become a mom someday. You have inspired me to openly share my faith with others more because of the way you do. I am currently working on building my social media and trying to build up my own business myself and you sharing my reel with the apron from so provincial gave me 3x more views and exposure than any I have ever posted. I also asked for a bread maker for Christmas and have been loving making bread because of what you have shared.

Truly, you inspire me on a weekly basis and I look forward to your posts and stories every day. I have been praying for you for your Grave’s disease!

My next projects are to start learning to garden and I am so so excited to get one of your new crew-necks! I am going to get the C’est Joli one because I am a makeup artist for the every day woman and I believe everyone is naturally and uniquely beautiful, so that one is very fitting to me. I can’t get it yet because it is not in the budget this month, but I am so excited to get it soon!

Anyway, I just wanted you to know how valued you are. Thank you for what you’ve brought to my life, it has truly inspired me in so many ways. I look up to you so much!

    Much love,
    D
