One of the most common “mom” questions I get is how I get my kids to eat what I cook, especially if what I’m cooking has a lot of veggies. It’s definitely a process; training kids to want to eat well, and not just beg for Mac’n’cheese every night for dinner. I know the struggle is real to get our kids to eat the healthy food we make, especially when they are little. So when I find a way to be sneaky and get extra veggies into their meals without them realizing it, I take full advantage.
Have you seen these Green Giant Veggie Fries®, and Veggie Rings® in the grocery store? They’re in the freezer section and they’re made entirely from veggies like cauliflower and zucchini, and include an entire serving of veggies. The best part is: they’re SUPER good. Like surprisingly delicious. They’re also super quick to bake up and fun to incorporate into easy kid-friendly recipes. I thought it would be fun to share a few with you today! Here are 3 of my favorite, easy kid-friendly recipes with Veggie Fries and Rings. They can all be done, start to finish in under 30 minutes (and most of that is bake time), they’re super fast and easy to throw together, and only take a few ingredients. Try them out! I promise your kid will LOVE them.
