I’ve got a fun round-up of cozy winter pieces from my favorite affordable capsule brand, Free Assembly. Walmart launched this line couple years ago and every season I am so impressed by the quality and versatility of the pieces. This season I am loving all the layering pieces, warm neutrals and cozy knits. Free Assembly consistently gets sweaters right, most of them are 100% cotton and look and feel great on. The FA sweaters I’ve owned for a couple years have held up so well and are easy to wash.

What I love most about Free Assembly is that it makes building a great capsule possible even if your budget is small. I don’t think building a capsule has to wait until you have lots to spend, you just have to be creative. Doing things like shopping secondhand, and finding affordable brands that make great pieces, like Free Assembly, is a great way to get started.

Everyone needs a good fitted, layering turtleneck in their winter capsule and this one is so flattering, super soft and comfy and is under $20. Pair it with the raglan sweater or wear it on its own. It would be super cute paired with wide leg trousers and comes in a bunch of colors and prints.

I am not usually a huge sweater dress wearer, but this one is so flattering and looks super cute with some over-the-knee boots. Layer it with a great coat and some tights and you’re ready to go all winter.
