We are just over a week out from Christmas! The days on and around the holiday are some of my favorites of the year, with some of our favorite traditions. I love to get a little dressed up for the Christmas holiday, and this year I wanted to share 3 holiday outfit ideas from Walmart’s Free Assembly line. This line has hit the nail on the head every season since it launched two years ago, and this year’s winter line is no exception. The sweaters are particularly good this season, with lots of pretty greens and some fun plaids. And the best part is, the quality is amazing and the prices are so affordable. (We’re talking everything under $40).
Below find outfit ideas for Christmas Eve, Christmas service, and Christmas Day.
For Christmas Eve.
Turtleneck sweater. Similar black trousers. Similar boots.
We usually do our big formal dinner on Christmas Eve so this is the time to be a little dressier. This lovely green turtleneck sweater from Free Assembly pairs perfectly with black trousers, makes a fun and festive outfit for Christmas Eve. This look would also work great for a work Christmas party.
For Christmas Service.
Sweater dress. Tights. Similar shoes.
Since Christmas Day is on a Sunday this year, I know many of us will be attending a Sunday morning service. This green sweater dress is perfect for the pew and the brunch after. Pair it with a great tartan scarf and a camel coat to finish the look. This green is classic and can be worn all winter, long after the Christmas season is over.
For Christmas Day.
Christmas Day is always much more casual for us. We love to be cozy, play games, read books, watch Christmas music and just spend the day together. This cozy sweater set is perfect for Christmas Day. It is soft, cozy and still feel cute and pulled together. Wear it with slippers around the house and pair it with some sneakers when you head out to visit friends and family. It would be cute with a denim jacket, a puffer or a wool coat. And don’t forget a fun and festive scarf.
