We all know the clothes, shoes and accessories of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are worth writing home about, (hey it’s why we all wait for midnight on the first day of early access right.) But there are also tons of fantastic beauty buys on deep discount right now, and I thought it would be fun to round up some of the best beauty goodies Nordstrom is offering this year. Most of these I either have, have tried, or know someone who has them and loves them, so read on below to hear why each of these beauty picks are so awesome. And happy Friday!
For skin:
GlamGlow: A few of my friends have tried this stuff and said it was amazing. Super great for getting your skin that gorgeous summer glow.
Purity facial cleanser by Philosophy: great Sulfate free facial cleanser. Great for all skin types.
PMD Personal Microderm System: this at-home microderm system is an amazing exfoliator, and works really well if you deal with arm bumps. If you want brighter more radiate skin, exfoliating is the key. Plus, I just think using it is super relaxing.
Clarisonic: The best skin cleansing system out there. The brush took a little getting used to for me (kind of like going from a regular toothbrush to an electric one), but now I seriously love how it gets the dirt out like nothing else.
For Hair:
GHD Professional Straightener: This one is supposed to be amazing and it’s marked way down. A great straightener is one of my hair tools I think every woman should invest in. Especially if you are like me and have naturally thick frizzy hair.
Beachwaver Pro’ Styling Iron: Okay, I am dying to get this one. It is supposed to curl your hair super fast in perfect disheveled beachy curls every time, plus it turns and rolls the hair up for you. I watched a video on it and it basically blew my mind.
T3 Blowdryer: My sister has this blowdryer and I just tried it yesterday morning. It’s so good. It’s super lightweight and the air blows super hot. It’s not a fast dryer, but it blows your hair out super smooth. In my sister’s words “it helps you blow-out your hair properly.” That’s exactly how I would put it.
Moroccan Oil: these are some of my favorite hair care products. Especially for us frizzy haired girls. I use the oil almost every day and the shampoo and conditioner smell amazing and are really good for frizzy hair.
Makeup:
MAC sets: these are both a steal and I love both colors. My MAC lipsticks are by far my favorites, they go on so smooth and last forever. And I wear MAC eyeshadow and paint pot every single day.
MAC brushes: I bought this set last year during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I am so glad I did. They are my go-to’s and they are still in perfect shape a year later.
Brow enhancing serum: okay I haven’t tried this but I am dying to, because I have some real “I over-tweezed my brows in high school” issues… It’s backordered, which makes me think I might now be the only one dying to try it. (ships by 8/13)
Other:
Kate Spade Perfume. Kate Spade, perfume. Enough said.
Deborah Lippmann nail polish: these colors are so perfect for summer to fall.
