Guess what?! It is snowing outside my window right now. Like actual fluffy flakes, snow. I don’t know if it will stick just yet, but it’s snowing! That means it really is Christmas time.
I love getting dressed in the holiday season. I figure if everyone is hanging wreaths on their door and lights on their houses, I can be as festive as I want and no one can say anything, because– Christmas. I have a deep and abiding love for sweaters (you’re shocked I’m sure), especially Christmas sweaters, but this year I’ve got another piece I’ve added to my festive attire collection: Christmas sweatshirts. Yessss. I mean, it’s practically impossible not to smile in a sweatshirt that says “Merry.”
I was at Nordstrom the other day looking for a new pair of jeans and I spotted this adorable Christmas sweatshirt from across the rack. The stripes on the arm, the bright red, the Merry! Then I tried it on, and it’s literally the softest thing I’ve ever owned. Goner.
I love pairing something like this with my ripped boyfriend jeans and then dressing it up a bit with a pair of pumps, just because I can. ;-) Then of course a pom beanie, my hat of choice this time of year.
Nordstrom has a bunch of adorable Christmas sweatshirts this year, and I love that a lot of them are cheeky and fun. I love how Nordstrom curates such a great variety of fun pieces from unique brands (like this sweatshirt) but they also have all the basics I’m looking for too, i.e. jeans, hats, shoes… and basically everything else in my closet…
