Ava @ 6 months.

Six months with this little dreamboat, and I can hardly believe it.

I swear.

When you are pregnant and wildly uncomfortable, everyday feels like an eternity, but as soon as you have your baby and you want to keep them tiny forever, time seems to fly.

Just as her siblings before her, this little munchkin has basically lost all her fabulous hair. wah! no more baby mohawk :-(  I think she sort of looks like a little bald baby boy even in a dress, but I love her, and her two little razor sharp teeth, and her squishy cheeks and her bright blue eyes, and her chubby little fingers to the moon and back.

Being a mom is literally the greatest.

Long days, late nights, worry, exhaustion, frustration, spit up and all.

Worth it.

I thought my bald little girl always looked so feminine until I look back now. Yep! Boy in a dress! :)

What a cutie pie! Babies aren’t born looking masculine or feminine; isn’t it funny how we automatically ascribe male status to them if they don’t have “girly” characteristics like longer hair? We Cubans (and Hispanic people in general) pierce little girls’ ears when they’re just a few months old, this way they don’t remember the pain and we can tell them apart from little boy babies.

She is absolutely gorgeous! It must be such a blessing to have a full home of sweet little blessings, little feet and hands and giggles to hear.

No children for my hubs and I just yet but I dream longingly of the day.
