manhattan beach.

There’s nothing I love more than when the stars align and we can piggy back a little family trip to the beach onto one of my trips to the garment district in LA.  The littles were more than happy to support mom in her endeavors, as long as it meant a tour of the aquarium followed by hours and hours of shell collecting and sand fort (who needs a castle) building on Manhattan Beach.

Life is good.

p.s. I cannot get over how perfect the pier is at Manhattan Beach, with the railing painted mint and the white globe shaped lamps.  Endless inspiration…

  1. What beautiful photos. I am sure it was not intentional, but I love that a natural color scheme developed! (Mint railings, mint sweater, etc.)This is just making my beach cravings a lot worse. In a good way.

  2. My boyfriend lives in LA and every time I visit I request a trip to Manhattan Beach! It’s one of my favorite spots. So beautiful- especially when you get to the end and look back at all of the houses along the beach. Gorgeous!
Next time you are there, make sure you go to Fusion Sushi- it’s seriously the best sushi I’ve ever had!!

Aw….I used to live there, so these pictures bring back so many memories!!! At Christmas time, they have a fireworks show right over the pier. Everyone brings blankets and hot chocolate to the beach and watches them go off over the water. It’s the best! Thanks for sharing your memories with us!!!
