I realize that my posting has been dismal as of late. Many apologies, and thank you for sticking with me. You see, we’ve been moving back to Arizona for the last few weeks. Mr.’s assignment in Seattle ended and we’ve made our way back down to the desert and the choking heat. I’m heartbroken to leave Seattle of course. I adore that city, and I miss the darling friends I made there even more. But more on that later… for now, here’s a few last shots from our trip to New York.
It’s safe to say my two favorite parts of the city were Central Park and the Upper West Side. So beautiful! I think we spent more time in Central Park than anywhere else, and I didn’t mind it one bit. We rowed around the lake and it was completely heavenly, if a little hot. Mr. even let me row ;-)
The West side was just what I thought it would be, but better. Tree lined streets, and Riverside park; I was completely smitten. But then again, I was completely smitten with all of it…
You are adorable, and it looks like it was a great trip! I so feel you on that move – I’m a PNW (Oregon) girl by heart currently living in Tucson. My SO is from here originally, although lived in Seattle for about 8 years, and we’re headed there next weekend to visit. I cannot WAIT to get out of this heat and would give anything to move back.
Such beautiful photos, I’ve always wanted to go to new York! Wow, back to Arizona, what a change tht must be! I hope the move and everything else will go well…and that it won’t be too hot for you!
Can you get be any cuter as a pregnant gal? Good luck on your move, though I’m sad to see you leave Seattle. I’m a NW gal myself and appreciated your fashion posts on dressing for our weather. Happy thoughts for unpacking with three little and a belly.
I did miss your posts! I totally understand the stress of moving myself and husband + our stuff. I can’t imagine adding 3 littles and their things! I hope the move is going well!
Hey Cori!! You bounced back from your move much quicker than I have!! We left the east coast mid July. Today was the first time I’ve read my blogs. Last I looked you just had a little bump, I can’t believe how quickly time flew by, you look awesome!! Congrats on the move back to AZ, we settled on Bellevue, L-O-V-E it!! We’re so happy here :D Thanks for the help and advice earlier this year, turns out there was nothing to worry about. I finally feel like I’m home. We’re actually going to get all our phone numbers switched to WA numbers, that’s a big deal. We’ve been living with New Mexico cell numbers but haven’t lived there for 9 years! Thanks again!
Hi Cori! I am LOVING all your maternity outfit posts now that I am pregnant- I’m 20 weeks and dressing and looking put together has started to become challenging, besides Gap what other store, tricks you recommend for dressing especially in the AZ heat?
You are just radiant! I cannot wait to go to New York this December, I have a feeling I am never going to want to leave!
