I’m quite fond of these new wide-leg trousers I snagged at Gap a few weeks ago. They are so comfortable they could be pajamas, except they’re fabulous. Also, why have I never thought of pairing cobalt and mint before? Duh. Sometimes I forget to be creative with my closet and then all the sudden all these things start occurring to me. Those are happy getting dressed days.
By the way, today is the 9th anniversary of mine and Mr’s first date.
I know, day before V day, ah how cute.
I cannot believe it has been that long. I guess getting married, getting through school (twice), making 3 babies, working several jobs, and moving multiple times, makes the years just fly past in a blur.
Go figure.
This day always makes me think about where we started, how far we’ve come together, and how much further we have to go.
So happy it’s him by my side.
And I’m really glad I said yes to that date 9 years ago. Really glad.
What a life you’ve had these past nine year. Happy day-before-V-Day-date anniversary! You look very lovely here :) those bootcut trousers are amazing on you! x
So glad we were roommates when you and the Mr. decided to go on your first date! I remember you coming home and telling me all about it ;) You look beautiful, Cori. I guess I should have had you teach me how to do all your up-dos when we were roommates, because they are so cute. Every time I do an up-do in my hair, it falls out within an hour because my hair is so thick!
Mare, I’m so glad we were roommates too. That was such an awesome time. I think about it a lot. So happy to have had a friend like you through high school and college. And I have the same issue with up do’s they refuse to stay up in my hair. This was the first time I ever tried this one and it was awesome. Stayed put perfectly all day long. Miss you Maran! Come and visit me in Seattle!
I bought a [nomally] $78 Fossil jacket for $12 at a thrift store this weekend and I thought, Cori would be so proud! Thanks for your detication to the blog and all your awesome outfits!
You look so pretty in that outfit. The hairstyle makes it. You’re the one who inspired me to buy a tie neck blouse like that, and to wear it with wide legged pants. I was very hesistant about that type of shirt, but you sold me.
Ok, As I glanced at the first picture of you tonight…I thought,”wait, is that Cori? No, I think it’s a model”. Then I clicked the link, and it was YOU! You look so Modelesque (that’s not a word, i know) in this photo shoot. Your hair looks adorable like that.
I was just looking at your cute blog on Saturday! So happy to see another Seattle girl. (I can call myself a Seattle girl right? Even if I’m an adopted one;-)
We live just outside of Seattle in the East Renton Highlands. Did you recognize the Landing??
LOVE the cobalt and mint together. I’ve pinned several images and can’t wait to try it out for myself. ;) Congrats on your nine years together. It is so amazing how quickly the time goes by. ;) Happy Valentine’s Day!
I just love your blog. Your entries are always so positive and cheerful, your photographs beautiful, and your outfits and your “ littles” so adorable. We recently returned to the Seattle area this summer after many years overseas, and it has been a joy to rediscover the NW. Your blog entries are often a reminder to me of the amazing places, great outfits and fun to be had in Seattle. Thanks!
