Awww… I love this. I have a little boy that I hope grows up to be a gentleman like his Daddy too.
Love those pants, that sweater, and especially that story! I have a tiny male, too, and hope I can teach him some of the same. :)

lace, etc.
I have three little brothers, but I helped my mom raise my youngest brother the most. I taught him to memorize a line from Johnny Lingo, “Many things can happen to make a woman beautiful, but the thing that matters most is what she thinks of herself” (That’s probably not totally correct) I’d like to think that I helped him become a little bit of what he is today (A super awesome high school senior who treats girls so very nicely)
what an adorable little story. and you look gorgeous as always!!

Love that you find so many great deals. I have yet to find a great store in our area in Victoria that has thsoe awesome finds!
I love that you are always able to alter things to suit you. Can I ask how you learned to sew? Is it something your mom taught you or did you teach yourself? I’m not quite as petite as you are (I’m 5’2″) but I am short enough that most things don’t fit me quite right. In fact I’m sort of in between in that regular stuff is way too long but petite clothes are often just a touch too short. Sigh. I really need to learn to sew!
Cori your stories are always so wonderful to read. Your blog is definitely one of the ones I look forward to reading the most.
Great look, what a pretty necklace!

Cori, you did a great job on the pants. Nothing makes us look shorter than those bell bottom capri pants! Yikes!!! And…you are doing a great job with the littles. They are very fortunate to have you as their mom.
Beautiful color combination! The world is a better and happier place when there are gentlemen around – I’m glad you’ve taken on the task of raising more. :)
I have two boys of my own–my oldest of which I raised on my own and I have had the same thoughts (especially because their fathers were NOT gentlemen). Good job Cori! And your son’s comment is heart melting. I love when my boys say something like that to me! You do look beautiful, by the way.
That sweater is fabulous! I love how your paired it with the necklace. and those littles of yours are so cute!
I love your writing and the stories of your littles. I am also raising a gentleman (he’s one) and it is such a blessing to know God is using us for his glory. Thank you for doing a good parenting job and reminding us to do the same.
Love this entry – it felt like the perfect mix of cute outfit, great parenting thoughts and cute kids moments!
I love the outfit! I have been lusting after shoes like those for a while now…Very chic.
You did a wonderful job with the pants. I’m now thinking about what pants I have that I might be able to fix. For a while, they didn’t have much available for someone my size (or I wasn’t finding it OR they just didn’t perfect the styling so well for someone who’s petite), and I bought some things only because they were the best available at the time…For some reason, I still have some of these things…
gorgeous!!
AMAZING PANTS! You are soo adorable!
Love this idea. I will take it to some of my pants that have been abandoned in the back of my closet.
