My middle child is also difficult and I know it’s just his age(he’s nearly 3). He’s so curious and can be destructive b/c of it. He’s only interested in doing what he wants and also throws fits if he can’t. There are other aspects of his personality that are difficult I won’t get into. I know how you feel and am glad to hear my hope isn’t in vain. Thank you.
I love the hope necklace. The fact that it has the pink ribbon on it makes it even more special to me.
I love the hope necklace, my mom is a 4-year survivor on Sunday the 23rd. Very near and dear to my heart. The Family Washer is adorable also, perfect four my new little family of 3! :) Thanks for this great giveaway!

I’m so glad things worked out with you and your son. But as a special education teacher and loving aunt to an amazing little boy with severe ADHD, I just want people to be careful not to always wait it out. Sometimes its good to see a doctor, even its just to hear a doctor say to give it time. If there is something there, its better to find out earlier. Because it doesn’t mean there is something wrong with that child. It just means that he/she functions a certain way. It means that adults in his/her life can give the child strategies to help him/her be successful.
I love the family heirloom. A friend had one on just like this and I wondered where she got it…but now i know!
I just followed her blog. Too cute!
I really like the family washer necklace.
Your outfit is cute. I especially love the skirt and how you brought 2 unexpected colors together, the green and pinkish-plum color. They look amazing together.
I never thought to mix purple and green, but this looks amazing! Thanks for the inspiration!

Definitely the breast cancer necklace – two of my aunts were diagnosed at the same time a few years ago. Their diagnosis, and recovery, affected our entire family!
I’m new to your blog but I really love it! Your words in this post really hit close to home with me. I too have a difficult 4 yr old and I totally understand what you mean about the challenges and public humiliation that comes with the tantrums whenever we are out in public. I am still holding on to the hope that one day soon she will grow out of it, but it seems so unlikely. I’m glad to hear your son is better! Gives me some hope! Keep blogging! You have great style and a beautiful family!
