Sunday is by far the easiest day of the week for me to get dressed.  I never have a problem finding something to wear.  In fact, I’ve probably got about 10 Sunday appropriate ensembles in my reserve file just waiting to be worn. (*my reserve file is just a random part of my brain where I store useless information, like my phone number from when I was a kid and every single line from “What about Bob?”)  The point is: getting dressed on Sunday morning is easy for me; it’s the other 6 days of the week that I stand in front of my closet wondering how to look put together and be casual at the same time.  I tell you what; I was made for business attire.  On the other hand, this being a mom thing has its benefits.  I mean I have access to all the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I want.  Beat that pencil skirts.  Plus my kids are cute.

Speaking of which, today after Mr. Ethan’s jaunt in the tub, I was getting him dressed, and when I pulled up his pants they were totally high-waters.  What?  Those just fit him.  I take a step back and he’s a big boy, not a baby.  Excuse me, how did that happen?   I’ve been looking at him every day for 3 and a half years, and then boom.  He’s huge.
Like how I’ve been combing, blow-drying, and straightening it every day and all the sudden I notice my hair is long.
I’m so observant.

I agree, I was made for business attire. Too bad I’m a teacher and don’t need to dress up that much.
