There’s no outfit post today people. I did wear clothes, but they weren’t anything fabulous as I was in a hurry to get myself and the boys off to the zoo this morning. And made less fabulous by the fact that it was 82 degrees today, so I was a little sweaty and disheveled by the end of the outing. Also, the air is too dry and it’s making my skin feel (and look) so gross. Welcome to Arizona in the spring.
My daughter is such a reader. And it’s Read-a-thon week at school so I keep finding her in the funniest little nooks with her Jack and Annie chapter books, lost in a 6 year-old imaginary world. I’m in love.
This evening I sat on the counter while the hubbs Mormon cursed at the new microwave whilst trying to insall it. Yes we finally got around to replacing the other one. The really annoying thing is, our house is barely a year old. I’m no appliance expert, but it sure seems like it should last longer that 12 months. Ah, the joys of home ownership. By the way, I lived without a microwave for a month and a half. That’s what happens when your husband works full time, and is a full time MBA student on top of it. No time leftover for Mr. Fix-it. And yes, I am Sheera.
I sat on the counter for pretty much the whole ordeal, and tried to act like I was contributing, but really I was just contemplating how bad I need a pedicure.
Not that it matters much, you can paint them pretty but they’re still just short-stubby little sausage toes.
I also contemplated cleaning the kitchen.
But opted instead for a brownie with cream cheese frosting smeared on the top, which really is the only acceptable way to eat a brownie.
Yum.
Until tomorrow.
