It’s no secret that I adore dressing my littles. Afterall, everything is cuter when it’s small. But with four growing kids, every season change means 4 wardrobes worth of new clothes. I get dizzy just thinking about how to coordinate shopping for that many little people, and lets not even talk about the cost. Yikes.
I’ve made no secret of my undying love and affection for Target, and when it comes to kids clothes, they are my go-to. I love what they come up with for littles every season, the prices are phenomenal, and let me just say, these clothes can take a hit and keep on coming.
When I’m shopping for my kiddos, I try to approach the process the same way I do when I’m packing a suitcase. Because I don’t have infinite amounts of time or money, and so many littles to dress, I try to make sure that every item I choose can work overtime. If it can’t be mixed and matched with most everything else, then go make me a peanut butter sandwich, it doesn’t earn a spot in their drawers. It requires just a bit more forethought, but I’ve found approaching their wardrobes with a plan and a color scheme in mind, saves me a lot of money, and makes it infinitely easier for them to match their clothes and get dressed in the morning.
This season, for my Babe Aves, I’m all about pinks and grays. I love the way they compliment each other, and I can throw in a little mint and navy which blend in oh so nicely.
Here’s what I came up with for my little squish of a baby. All lovingly procured at Target.
Tops: Pink, Gray, Polka Dot. Onesies: Mint &Gray, Pink. Outerwear: Cardigan, Trench.
Skirt. Dress. Skinnies. Mint Jeggings.
Tights: Gray. Pink. Shoes: Mint. Gray. Pink. Headbands: Gray. Multi.

Love Target! Though with three boys, I find I don’t have to shop all that much–just for the oldest kiddo. But the chore I hate the most is pulling out the clothes that don’t fit, pulling out the new set and re-shuffling everyone’s drawers. What a nightmare! I guess I save money though :)

I love this post. I am due with a girl in Dec and as I have been shopping, i have actually complained how only certain clothes go with certain things. Unlike my boy, top + bottom = outfit. Keep these posts coming! :)
I luvvee Target too!! They are getting some cute stuff for little boys too, I always have great success w/ the girls there but excited to see more things for boys!
This is such a great idea…will def keep in mind when I have babies of my own. I love Target too…just picked up two fabulous pencil skirts {one was $7!} that will be staples in my closet…can’t beat em’! –Kari Ann
Oh please oh please do one of these for your H. It’s one of the worlds biggest disappointments when your little girl grows out of a 5T because there’s nothing left in the world to dress them in but ‘teenage pop culture type’ clothes full of sequins and weird sayings and skulls. Mine is only 6, I don’t want her in crazy teenage clothes. Where do you go for miss H??

Yes! The move from Target Baby/Little Girl to Target Big Girl has had me lamenting for 2 years! How can infant-5t be SO DANG CUTE and 6+ be so awful!
