Last night I took my kids to the library. It was kind of magic. You know, except for the part when Ava did that thing that almost two year old babies do where they go all floppy and lay flat on the floor giving you the “I dare you to do something about it” look. That was not magical. But the rest of it was pretty sweet. Watching them peruse through rows and rows of children’s books. Hannah was like a kid in a candy shop. Or basically, Hannah in a library. I think that’s a good saying, we should use that. Anyways, afterward we drove to Krispy Kreme because its the only donut shop still making fresh donuts at 6:30 at night and bought ourselves a baker’s dozen. Then we came home and had cocoa and donuts and a sang songs until it was time for bed. I decided fall is looking pretty dreamy so far.
I’ve really been feeling the dreamy designs lately. I want twirly skirts and pretty floral prints, fabric that sort of sashays when I walk and feels fabulous to wear. Everything feminine and lovely. And that’s where all my recent pieces seem to be going. I’m digging it.
