1. Seattle’s rainy season has most definitely started. I don’t mind it. I love the rain! Ask me again in April though… ;-)
2. I’ve been wearing my hunter boots pretty much nonstop for the last week and I am addicted. I don’t know why it took me so long to admit my shortness and just order the kids version, but holy boots they fit my feet/legs so much better. It’s making me rethink all my riding boot purchases of the past. I mean, have you seen what Nordstrom has in the way of boots for girls? I’m starting to understand that the key to not looking so so short is proportions. Shorter shaft height=my legs look longer.
3. I found this scarf at Nordstrom Rack on Monday. In the men’s section. I’m telling you, if you’re looking for the best tartan scarves, go raid the men’s section. That’s where all of my favorites come from. Also, you should know that Seattle has the best Rack stores. True story.
Welp, it’s Wednesday and it’s raining and my kids get off school early today, so we are going to drink cocoa and make chocolate chip muffins and read books all afternoon. I don’t hate my job. ;-)

We just found out that we’re getting a Nordstrom Rack in our area. It is a very big deal. I actually didn’t know what one was until I read about it on your blog some time ago. Plaid scarf is another must.
