jump, jump.

When jumpsuits first started to reappear a few years ago, I was kind of like, “meh.”  I thought they were cute and all, (on taller girls) but mostly, all I could think was, “If I have to get naked just to use the restroom, I don’t think this trend is for me.”

And then, they started making jumpsuits in petite, and they got cuter and cuter until finally I threw all caution to the wind and decided, naked bathroom sessions be danged.  It was time to fully embrace the jumpsuit/romper trend.

I love these ones with a bit of a military/mechanic feel.  Makes me feel like Rosie the Riveter.  Although I realize I’ll never be as amazing and Bad-A as any of those women who stepped up like that, this jumpsuit feels like a little ode to them.

Speaking of which, if you’re ever in the Seattle area, I highly recommend a visit to the museum of flight.  (It’s even free to get in on the first Thursday of the month.)  They have a whole section on all the women who worked on planes during World War Two and it was truly humbling to read about.
