I’ve been obsessed with all things French since I was a little girl. I mean, I wore a beret to school in 5th grade. And when I say I wore a beret, I mean I wore it strategically tipped to make me look like a French painter. Yeah, I know. #dork
(Side note: I don’t know when my hat-consciousness set in, but it must have been sometime between the 5th grade beret fetish and a few years ago when I got over it and started wearing them again…)
But back to the French thing… studying the language in college certainly didn’t help me overcome my obsession and when I saw this aline Paris skirt, I couldn’t resist. Aline, pleats and charming illustrated scenes from Paris… total goner. It’s right up there with my London skirt. (I know, I have a thing for cities.)
And speaking of all things French. I’ve been trying to perfect my creme brûlée recipe lately and let me tell you, that is a fun thing to taste test. Mmmmm….
