First off, I want to thank you for all your kind words on yesterday’s post. It’s not always easy for me to share more personal things here, but I am so glad that I did. My struggles with anxiety are real and it feels good to acknowledge it publicly. It also helps me to realize that I’m not the only one struggling with it.
I had such a nice birthday yesterday. My husband made me crepes for dinner (my favorite) and a carrot cake for dessert, and we danced around the living room with the kids and opened a few presents, put the littles to bed and then watched the newest Downton episode. It was low-key and relaxing, which is just how I like my birthday to be. Especially after all the craziness of the holiday season.
This time of year, I’m all about cozy layers, and this buffalo check shirt has become a fast favorite. I feel like flannel can sometimes be itchy, but this shirt is so soft I could sleep in it. And I’m still obsessed with this Anthro jacket,(it goes with everything!) even if I had to run back inside and put a bigger coat on after we took these pictures because it just wasn’t quite warm enough. -10 requires something a little heftier than a moto jacket. Shocking, I know.
