When I was pregnant with Hannah, overalls were totally in style. So, as I prepared to give birth to her I happily packed my favorite pair in my hospital bag for when it was time to come home from the hospital. They were all kinds of baggy before I was pregnant, so in my naive first time mom state, I figured they would be perfect. Ha. Ha. I couldn’t even pull them over my hips. It was a tragic moment when I had to ask Craig to bring me my sweatpants, and I wondered if anything normal would ever fit again. Dramatic. So dramatic. I mean, aren’t most women back in their regular clothes two days after giving birth?
Anyway, I’m glad overalls are back in and that they’ve been updated to be a little more fitted and flattering. My teenage self from the 90’s would be so pleased. I may or may not have had “Overall Fridays” with my friends. (We were so cool.) Let’s bring that back…
