We’ve had a pretty dry and delightfully sunny spring thus far (especially for Seattle), so I don’t mind a rainy day thrown in here and there. In fact I kind of love it. I love cozy rainy days. Any excuse to pull out my favorite pair of wellies, and make a cup of cocoa, right?
I love bold rain boots and cheerful tops on gray days, they really pop against a gloomy backdrop and it’s like you’re bringing the sunshine with you regardless of the weather.
I ordered this awesome striped sweater last week, because I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many stripes and this one has such a perfectly nautical vibe, I kind of squeaked when I found it. I’m a little bit of a dork when it comes to stripes. I’m sure you’ve all realized this by now…
One of the things I love most about Seattle is all the water. There’s nothing I love more than spending a day at the water front, whether it be the docks at Gene Coulon on Lake Washington, Alki Beach, or the Seattle Waterfront. People don’t let the weather stop them in a place like Seattle where it rains a lot, and I love seeing how everyone’s still out and about in spite of the rain. Although, you should see it on a sunny day. Pandemonium.
