I would like to announce that I have, in fact, survived the birthday season. It was touch- and-go for a bit there, and I may or may not have had a momma break down or two between all the Halloween prep and 3 kids’ birthdays, but yesterday, my Ava turned one and we marked the last of the fall annuals. There are so many October birthdays in our family, sometimes I wonder if I will survive. Also, it turns out Fall is almost as expensive as Christmas. On the bright/heartbreaking side, my Ava is now one. I’m still crying into my pillow about that, so while I’m consoling myself, take a look at our new pencil skirt. It’s pretty perfectly fall, if I do say so myself. You know I’m a sucker for burnt orange.
