If you are anything like me you’ve already started pulling the christmas boxes out of the attic and dusting the cobwebs off your ornaments. I don’t know what it is about this year, but I am just itching to deck my halls. Usually I wait until the day after Thanksgiving but I’m fairly certain the tree will be trimmed and we’ll be singing Christmas carols by Friday.
I just love Christmas decor.
When I was in high school I was obsessed with holiday outdoor illumination, and I was convinced that you could never have too many lights. I’d spend money from my high school waitressing job on extra strands of lights and cheesy lit figurines. My mom always went all out inside the house, and I loved how festive everything was. I’ve been decorating in mostly green and white with a little soft blue for the last few years, but this year I just got the itch to change it up a bit and bring some reds back in. I can’t wait to show you the whole thing later next week, but until then, here’s a sneak peek at some of my favorite new pieces as well as my four favorite places to find great Holiday decor.
