You guys know I can be fairly basic with my hair, but lately I’ve been experimenting with different ways to style it in the spring and summer months. Since my outfits become a lot more simple in the warm months, less layers and all that, I like to add a little visual interest with my accessories and right now I’m all about different ways to style a scarf in your hair.
My favorite place to snag cute neck scarves and bandanas is Madewell. They have tons of options and they all run under $20. I’ve been loving pulling my hair half up and tying the scarf in the back, like you see here. I’ve also been having fun with wrapping it around a bun, tying it around a ponytail, or wearing it as a headband. It really is such a versatile accessory. You can also wear it tied around the strap of a purse or around your neck in the classic neck kerchief style.
Speaking of Madewell, I’ve been living in their casual shirts lately, they’re just the perfect capsule pieces, comfortable and versatile. This cute striped button down just went on sale, too! I’m wearing an XXS just for reference and it’s definitely got an oversized fit. It’ll be fun to style it with shorts and dresses over the summer. It’s a great shirt.
