I feel like every season I get a color on my brain and I kind of dress around it or find a way to bring it into every outfit I wear. This fall I feel like taupe is my color. From these awesome OTK boots I snagged earlier in last month, to this BlankNYC jacket that I just picked up last week, I feel like I keep gravitating towards the color. And it’s no wonder…
Taupe is a magic color.
What I love about it is that it’s warm and neutral. It goes with everything and elevates any look. This was the color moto jacket I missed during 2016’s Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and it’s been one of the holes in my closet. A good taupe leather jacket is a serious wardrobe workhorse so when I stumbled upon it recently I snatched it up, perfect Christmas gift to myself. ;-) (side note: these BLANKNYC suede jackets are some of the best pieces I have in my closet. I’m not even going to tell you how many colors I have them in…)
