My husband has been working insanely long hours since he was promoted a couple months ago (hello 60 hour weeks–ug) so I’m looking forward to a few days with my main squeeze and no interruptions, you know except for our four ducklings… We’re heading out on a hike this morning, the mountains around Seattle are insanely beautiful this time of year, all the fall colors mixed with the evergreens make my little heart go pitter-patter. It’s insanely beautiful today, sunny and warmish. It’s been a rainy couple of weeks, so I’m planning on a muddy trail, but we learned quick the last time we lived in the PNW, if you want to get outside, you’ve got to learn to love the mud!
