Can I just say, TGIF.

Last night, I played hookie.  Craig and I were discussing business stuff after we sent the kids up to bed, and suddenly we were quoting “The Kid.”  Well, if you give a mouse a cookie… of course that meant I needed to watch “The Kid,” so instead of getting any work done, I played hookie and watched a movie.  It was fun.

I forgot how much I love that movie.  I mean, I always remember that that movie is amazing, but I never remember just how perfect every single minute of it is, and how Bruce Willis is so charmingly sarcastic, and how that kid is so ridiculously cute, and I remembered how all I ever wanted when I was 18 and that movie first came out, was to someday have a kid as cute as that.  And then I realized that my dream came true, because Ethan is Rusty.  Lisp and all.   Love. Love. Love.  Anyway, if you haven’t seen it, please do yourself a favor.  It’s adorable.

So I’ve been working on a fun, fun project for the last few weeks, something a little different for me, and something wildly fun but challenging.  And I literally can’t wait to show you what it is.

(I know I’m being very cryptic, but I promise to tell you all about it soon…)

Also, I wasn’t sure I wanted to jump into the whole palm trend, (too many unfortunate Hawaiian shirts in my past) but this skirt convinced me.  Good job Loft.  Also, I forgot how much I adore plum and mustard together.  The colors, not the foods.  (ps. it’s on sale.)
